Tao College - Master of Arts in Asian Religions and Philosophy The Master of Arts in Asian Religions and Philosophy Degree is an exceptional program of study for those interested in exploring the traditional religions, philosophy, and spirituality of Asia. The focus is on the major religions and philosophical influences in Asian culture. The courses completed in Certificate in Asian Religions and Healing program may be applied towards the Master of Asian Religions and Philosophy degree. Additionally, the Principles of Qigong course in the Qigong for Wellness Instructor program may be applied to this degree program. The student needs to register for the Degree program within one year of the completion of the Certificate program for the courses to be applicable. Each course needs to be completed within four months of the start date for that course. The course can be completed earlier if the students desires to work more quickly. The program must be successfully completed within four years from the start date to qualify for graduation, although this program would typically be completed more quickly. Extension may be granted upon the written request of the student. The program requires completion of the ten courses (30 Credit Hours) listed below:
Additional Program Requirements: Students are required to have completed a Bachelor's Degree in any area of study from an approved college or university before enrolling in the Graduate Degree program. Students are not required to take the GRE or any other entrance exams to enroll in this program. Students are expected to have graduate level writing skills. Students are expected to be organized and self-motivated in order to complete this program.
